From our start in 1993 and until 2007 ...
Jatson Chumig relied only on the sale of goods
at its gift shop made at the four handicraft workshops;
Incense, Paper, Clothing and Shoes for revenue.

In 2009, a new non-profit organization was formed in
The United States of America called,
The Jatson Chumig Educational Corporation.

The U.S. Government and the Internal Revenue Service
gave a letter of approval for JCEC to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
All donations to JCEC go directly to Jatson Chumig in Lhasa, Tibet ~ PRC.

Jatson Chumig Educational Corporation has no employees and no paid staff.
It consists solely of 4 board members who volunteer their time, talent & treasure
to help raise funds for Jatson Chumig School & Orphanage in Lhasa, Tibet
People's Republic of China.
