Goals for the JCEC Fiscal-Year: 2011-12

• Continue raising funds for food, clothing, medical care and education of all the children at Jatson Chumig in Lhasa, Tibet ~ PRC
• Raise the funding to hire a full-time cook at Jatson Chumig
• Raise the funding to hire a Physical Therapist at Jatson Chumig
• Raise funding for new uniforms.  [Collette Foundation] DONE!
• Completed the building of the new girl's dormitory ~ November, 2011
• Fully raise the funding for girl's dorm - Nov., 2011 ~ DONE!
• Fully raise the funding for the new toilet house  ~ In Progress...
• Begin fundraising and building a new boy's dorm Spring to Fall, 2012

The Jatson Chumig Educational Corporation is an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and recieved its Letter of Acceptance from the Internal Revenue Service of the United States Governmant.

JCEC follows all rules, laws and guidelines set forth by the People's Republic of China. As both a USA non-profit and an NGO, we do not support any political or religious organization(s).  Helping the children of China, and in particular the children living in the Tibet Autonmous Region, is our only goal. This is being accomplished by helping to provide a healthier, safer, cleaner environment which both improves their quality of education and by providing assistance for the disabled / handicapped children of Tibet.

Have you ever wondered .....

Have you ever wondered, "What percentage of my donation actually makes to to the kids who live at Jatson Chumig?"  ~ or ~   "How much of my money is used for administration purposes?"

The plain and simple answer is this:                      

We have a remarkable 95% donation-to-organization record. This means for every $1.00 (one-dollar) donated, 95 cents makes it to Jatson Chumig and to the kids. The other .05 cents are used in a combination of Paypal fees and Bank-to-bank Wire Transfer fees. We are able to do this because Jatson Chumig Educational Corporation has no employees. No fees or salaries are paid to anyone. All services performed by the Board of Directors of The Jatson Chumig Educational Corporation are donated. This allows the kids at Jatson Chumig to get the most from every donation.
