Thoughts & Wishes
There Are Days - <--- click link for hidden video #1
by a Jatson Volunteer

There are days when        Dec_News-1
bubbling from us comes
the innocent child within,
who giggles at the little things
and wears a silly grin.

There are days when
melancholy comes to
visit for a while;
the mind feels tired, the body weak;
we have no strength to smile.

Pema Dolkar

There are days when
joy abundant
grabs a hold of you and me;   Tenzin Dolkar
wraps us up in all it's splendor,
lifts us up and sets us free.

There are days when
sorrow wraps us
in its cloak of grief and fear,
'till our hearts ache to the breaking,
'till our eyes can't shed a tear.

There are days when
love bestows us
with its wonderment and light;
with its beauty and its mystery,
its power and its might.

Pema

And there are days when
life rewards us
with these children, who call Jatson home
by granting us a marvelous gift,
so they'll never be left alone.

We hope you've visited our new web site. It's got a new look and more information is being uploaded every day. Most importantly, we want to make it easier for you to access, read and input your thoughts. We are constantly trying to reach out, even in these most difficult economic times, to remind you of the kids who sleep, eat, learn and live at Jatson Chumig School & Orphanage.

Soon, we'll have a new video for all to see and in 2009, we'll have our online store up and running where you can purchase products made on-site at the handicraft workshops and have them delivered to your home.

We have no end-of-year bang, no matching gifts, nothing but a reminder - that we're still here and hope you'll never forget us. Please visit our website, and if possible, make your end-of-year contribution to help keep Jatson Chumig going strong.
